Steel goes onto timber dunnage, so there’s room to get the slings under it at the other end. Every load is ratchet-strapped with Sam’s own gear and craned off where you want it: no forklift and no unloading by hand.

Steel transport questions
Can you collect from the steel supplier?
Yes. Sam collects from the supplier or yard and delivers straight to your site.
Do I need a forklift to unload?
No. The crane lifts the steel off the deck and sets it down where you want it.
Do you supply the dunnage and straps?
Yes. Sam brings the chains, slings, straps and dunnage.
Can you carry steel to or from outside Auckland?
Yes. Runs to and from Auckland are welcome, like 10 tonnes of steel pipe from Hamilton to Pakuranga.
How much does steel transport cost?
Sam’s rates are competitive, and each load is quoted on the distance and the lifts at each end. Send the details for a quote.
